Check out this awesome Plex cake Jamie made for her sons 4th birthday!

My 3 year old asked me to make him a "Yo! gabbo gabbo! robot cake", for his upcoming 4th birthday. I really liked the examples on your site. I started there then constructed mine out of 2-9" round cake pans. I didn't want to make two 9x13's as it would just be the 7 of us celebrating Jonny's big day.

It isn't perfect and I would probably use a pourable fondant instead of butter cream if I ever did it again. I used a mini cherry tootsie pop for the antennae just to give some perspective.

Thanks! The cutting and placing took a lot of time, but the icing went really quick especially since it was not perfect. But, Jonny liked it and it means a lot to me that he liked it so much!
