Abbigaile's 1st Birthday!
Hello Gabba Friends! We had a blast this weekend for my daughter Abbigaile's 1st birthday! It was only appropriate to share some pictures of our Yo Gabba Gabba party.
We painted a handmade banner to decorate the outside of the yard and with the help of Nickjr.com printed out lots of pictures to help decorate around the party.
I ordered stickers from Ebay.com and used them to make a flag banner and also added them to the centerpieces.
Now, for the centerpieces I handmade them with paint, tissue paper, and ribbon. I ordered swirly suckers from Orientaltrading.com and added them to the centerpieces for that final touch. I also made a balloon bouquet to match each centerpiece and they just came out great!
I purchased felt handmade goodie bags and personalized invitations from etsy.com.
We handed out cotton candy, popcorn and treats with Yo Gabba Gabba goodies.
The pinatas were specially made at a local pinata store and were a great "hit" with the kids.
I also found the YGG 2010 Calendars at a local 99cent only store and used them to decorate the present table and then raffled them to guests at the end of the party.
My brother ordered an awesome cake from a local bakery that was so colorful and pretty.
Most of our guests had Yo Gabba Gabba shirts to show their love for the show.
The best part was when "Brobee" showed up and played games with all the kids; everyone lined up for pictures even all the adults!
Abby's first birthday turned out great but it wouldn't of been what it was without the help of all of your ideas and awesome website!
