Adriel's Birthday Bash!

Adriel's birthday was this past Sunday and everyone had a great time from the food to all the delicious treats I got made, so here are some pictures from his 2nd birthday party.

The front had a ribbon with an "it's a birthday party" message. Then I had her make the Gabba gang look very festive and she added the "you're invited". The back was so cute as well.

I didn't have much time to decorate the way I wanted to so the party was not all that. I didn't have enough time to do everything I wanted either, other than the centerpieces, some of the chocolate lollipops broke since the kids kept grabbing them.

Next are the treats I got for the kids, but not only did the kids enjoy these but also many adults stopped by the treats table and grabbed more than one treat to satisfy their sweet tooth =D

The Yo Gabba Gabba pretzel rods, chocolate covered marshmallows, rice krispie treats, and the Yo Gabba Gabba logo lollipops were made by a wonderful chocolate artist from etsy. Here is her website: http://www.etsy.com/shop/DelightfulChocolates Her name is Amy and she made the logo lollipops by hand. She molded the chocolate and made them look like the Yo Gabba Gabba logo. By the way, she was the only one I found in etsy to get this request done as many chocolate favor sellers said it just couldn't be done. She also enjoyed making the rods, the rice krispie treats and everything else. She worried a lot about the shipping since the weather is reaching up to 103 some days here. But thankfully everything made it perfectly fine. Check her store as she is making more Yo Gabba Gabba treats for party favors or anything else you would want. Also I got some Yo Gabba Gabba cookies. I tried to get a good picture but the kids went crazy for them so they were gone really quick. Also I got some of them on a stick as you can see in the pictures.

We got the pinata, goodie bags, plates, cups, napkins, and a banner from Birthday Express, also the mini gumball machines. Here is the gift table. Thanks to Steven who made any graphics for me to print out including this banner and also stickers and name labels.

We also made a couple of games for the kids like dancing chairs, hot potato, and also a dancing contest where every kid won the game and got a gift prize. Some girls got Barbies while the boys got Transformer figurines =D

I tried to take a picture of the hats but I didn't have time. As you can see in the floor, I made the little eyes of the characters. =D My son loved his party oh so much. Here he is eating a cookie

And lastly the cake that left everyone surprised =D
The inside was tie dyed and the filling was light whip cream with fresh strawberries and peaches. (I also forgot to take a picture of that.) But this is my first planned out birthday party and even though I didn't get to do everything I wanted and everything didn't turn out the way I wanted it to, everyone had fun and enjoyed the party, especially the kids. And my son now knows how to blow candles <3

Thanks Gabba Friends for some awesome ideas. This party had to be a Yo Gabba Gabba themed because it is the only show my son runs from the kitchen to the living room when he hears the opening song from the show. And also because he knows all of the characters names at 2 years of age, and also because it is the only show he sits and watches until it ends =D
