How-To: Customize Shirts for Older Children
Amanda sent in these photos of a t-shirt she customized for her 8-year old son. Amanda brings up a good point that since most of the shirts run just to size 4T and then adult sizes, that leaves a gap for those sizes in between! We think the look of the images sewn on looks so cool!
Amanda writes:
My son is 8, and he loves Biz's Beat, Brobee and more. Of course most merchandise is too small for him, but we love the superfunky Party in My Tummy tee from Minifine, but it only goes up to 4T. I decided to go for it and found a black tee from American Apparel, and (gulp) cut the groovy graphics off the 4T and sewed them on to the black tee (used some stitch-witchery to hold it in place). He loves it and so do I.
