Parents Share Their Pictures and Advice on Yo Gabba Gabba Birthday Parties!
I get so excited to receive pictures and to hear your advice on how you created the perfect Yo Gabba Gabba!-themed birthday party! We have a few new photos to share including some very smart tips from those who made them!
Katie N. sent us pictures of her elegant Foofa cake and matching cupcakes (so tempting, in fact, that we spy a tiny hand reaching for one!).

From Jill F.:
"I made this Brobee cake for my daughter's 2nd birthday in March....She loves the show Yo Gabba Gabba and all of the characters on it. I cut and formed the cake myself, and mixed my own tints to get Brobee's fur the correct shades. I used coconut for extra texture (boy, tinting that was a PAIN!), M&Ms and white frosting for the eyes, and fruit rolls for the mouth and cones. Thank you for your website! It's great to share ideas with other Gabba fans."

From Iris G.:
"I love your site. I came across it while trying to think of something to do/make for my niece Marissa's first birthday. I've never made a cake with fondant so I decided to go for it for her birthday. I made a tie-dye cake, vanilla frosting dyed hot pink, covered and decorated it with marshmallow fondant, and used the Yo Gabba Gabba! set from Toys "R" Us as cake toppers. Needless to say my niece absolutely loved it, as did her 2 yr old sister, Alessandra, who would not stop staring at it. Here's a picture of Marissa going crazy right as she sees it for the first time and a close up of the cake. Enjoy and thank you again for the site, I got so many great ideas."

From Jeanette H:
Jeanette sent in pictures of her Yo Gabba Gabba cakes as well as pictures of a very cute Plex pinata, which she and her husband cleverly made using diaper and beer boxes! Now that's crafty!
