CJ's First Birthday Boogie!
We celebrated CJ's 1st birthday with a big Yo Gabba Gabba birthday party under the stars! CJ LOVES Yo Gabba Gabba and it's all he will watch, so I knew having a movie under the stars was the perfect party idea.
Everyone had a blast and I got many compliments on my invites. The first is the front of his invitation. Since we were "showing" Birthday Boogie at his party, I tried to make the front look like the dvd cover.

This second picture is of the inside of the invite.

This is the special insert that went to family for a VIP "backstage" dinner.

The back of CJ's invitation all mapped out.

These are the thank you cards we had made for all those wonderful presents CJ got at his first birthday boogie party!

My best advice to give to people: Give your cameras to your family and friends. You will be so busy the day of the party and there is no time to take pictures!
This is a picture of CJ and I entering his VIP pre-show dinner.

Since we had a lot of outside to decorate, we went balloon crazy (wiped out two helium tanks!). These are some of the balloons waiting to go outside.

We ordered YGG balloons from Celebrate Express (ordered all our YGG party goods from them) and inflated them all ourselves. This is the front of our house, where we were having our party under the stars.

We put the YGG group cling on the fence. Aww, there's the tired birthday boy next to the large YGG decals.

The party tables (we had a bunch!):

Next to that table, is the screen my husband (the birthday boy's daddy) set up.

Then there is CJ's highchair that his cousin decorated for him.

After our pre-show dinner, it was time to start the big party and we all had a quick "costume change" and got in our YGG clothing! This is the birthday boy and his mommy and daddy.

Grandpa joined in on the fun!

CJ's birthday cake is also here. It was a huge disappointment, bakery screwed up big time....but we got the cake for free and it did taste yummy, so I guess I really can't complain too much, it just wasn't decorated right at all and I was very upset about it that day.

CJ didn't mind though and he enjoyed getting messy with it!

These next few pictures are of the Birthday Boogie showing. All the kids loved watching YGG on the big screen!

Then there is CJ with his grandpa. I included this one because behind them is the favors CJ gave out to his friends. We ordered the YGG sippy cups, filled them with lollipops and tied a balloon to each one.

Lastly, is a happy birthday boy playing with some of his new YGG toys!
