Cydnee's 2nd Gabba Birthday Bash!
My name is Carissa and I am mom to a Gabba fanatic daughter, Cydnee. For her 2nd birthday, I wanted to create a Yo Gabba Gabba wonderland for her and her friends.
I used the Nick Jr. site for many cutouts.
I originally wanted to make all five character cakes out of homemade fondant....but at 5 am the morning of, that was not a working option. I ended up making homemade buttercream and flavoring and coloring all cakes with the appropriate Gabba color. I did use fondat for the eyes and Muno's bumps.
I made T-shirts for Cydnee, my mom, dad, grandfather, aunt and myself.
My brother dressed up as DJ Lance in our own homemade outfit. He was an absolute hit!!! The entire day, I had the Gabba cd playing in the background and would catch kids dancing and singing.
I made a homemade birthday sign, as well as having kid sized characters to take pictures.
All kids got a goodie bag with Gabba bookmarks( from Nick Jr.) and homemade foam visors of their favorite character.
This was by far the best birthday party I've been to!! My daughter had a blast, the adults loved my ideas a,d I was given tons of compliments.

These are all such great ideas!! I am very much into diy projects, and my daughter will be 3 in Nov- she loves arts and crafts and is very excited to help make her Yo Gabba party. She LOVES (as do I) Cydnee's party. Fantastic! Thanks for sharing with us all!
