Evan's 1st Birthday Party

Evan's mom sent in wonderful pictures from his first birthday party using tips she found here from the members of the Gabbafriends Community!

Evan's mom writes:

Thank You Gabbafriends for helping with the planning of Evan's 1st bday party. It was awesome!

I made bday shirts for all of the little one's including my bday boy using the Nick Jr. iron on print-outs.

I also printed out masks and puppets from the Nick Jr. website.

For the centerpieces I found these buckets in the dollar section at Target and the lollipops at Party City. I made address labels that had a pic of Brobee and a Thank You and wrapped it around the stick of the lollipops. I poured rice in the buckets to hold the Gabba's and lollipops. So easy.

I ordered the banner from Birthday Express. Very good quality.

In the goody bags: I printed out the goody bag cut outs from nickjr.com and glued them to the bags. I also printed out coloring pages from the Nick Jr. website and put each character in it's bag. I also used the Nick Jr. fortune teller page, made the fortune tellers and added them inthe bags. I found bouncy balls that looked like the magic ball friends from the show. I put sour belts that were rainbow colored and ring pops. I also threw in little plastic rainbow skatedboards or fingerboards that I found at Party City just to add that old school effect that Yo gabba gabba brings out. I also made each goody bag a cd with a few songs from the show. I made the labels for the cd using AMF Cd and Dvd label maker. I just downloaded the free software. It was easy. I used the graphics from the gabba fan that shared their clip art of yo gabba gabba characters.
