Are you Yo Gabba Gabba?

No, we are not Yo Gabba Gabba. We are fans (and friends of Yo Gabba Gabba) that simply wanted a spot to collaborate and exchange ideas with other fans of Yo Gabba Gabba. We do not work for nor are we officially sanctioned by Yo Gabba Gabba, Nick Jr., or Wildbrain. Wouldn't that be fun, though? A girl can dream...

If you are curious to know who we are specifically, you can click to read what it's like behind the scenes of Gabbafriends.com!

Are you friends with people at Yo Gabba Gabba? How do you know so much?

Do we consider specific people at Yo Gabba Gabba personal friends? Yes, actually we do! And since the birth of Gabbafriends in 2008, we have naturally formed many more personal friendships with people from the show.

However, our friends at Yo Gabba Gabba do NOT feed us any inside secret information for us to "leak" online, and in turn, we are extremely respectful of their personal privacy. The opinions expressed within Gabbafriends.com are solely those of Gabbafriends Admin and readers of this website. In other words, the majority of our tips come from rad Yo Gabba Gabba fans around the world that want to share the Gabba love, just like we do! We often do get the scoop, but we don't like to give out information or spoilers that the creators of the show want kept under wraps. That's not our style!

Regarding images: All Yo Gabba Gabba images are the intellectual property of Yo Gabba Gabba, and GabbaCaDabra, LLC and are used on our website with permission. We do NOT encourage or recommend using Yo Gabba Gabba's intellectual property for profit without their express permission. Images sent to Gabbafriends.com , by readers of this site are protected under the Gabbafriends.com copyright. Please do not reproduce our images without proper citation/linking.

Wait, so does Yo Gabba Gabba even READ Gabbafriends.com then?

Yes. I promise you, they do. The creators, cast, crew, animators, musicians, and even DJ Lance himself have told us they all read Gabbafriends.com. Publishing your stories is like writing a love letter to the people who create our favorite show. Keep the stories coming in!

How can I contact Yo Gabba Gabba?

Well, if you've contacted us thinking we're Yo Gabba Gabba, don't be embarrassed. It has happened. HOWEVER, we do not and cannot accept fan mail meant for or on behalf of Yo Gabba Gabba. We're very sorry, but that's just how it is.

However, if you want to contact Yo Gabba Gabba, we have a few suggestions:

A. Leave comments on their Production Blog.

B. Post a message to their official Facebook page. Yes, they do read your messages, and they do try their best to respond, if/when time allows. So go ahead and suggest your city for the next live tour! Yo Gabba Gabba listens to their fans better than one might think! If you have a specific question, their Facebook page is often a great way to get a response either from Yo Gabba Gabba or from other fans who would know the answer.

C. If you have specific questions about Yo Gabba Gabba that you want answers to, post it in the forums and allow the helpful members of the Gabbafriends Community to answer your questions. Doing this helps keep Yo Gabba Gabba's resources open to work on the show, instead of being tied up in answering commonly asked questions and fan mail.

How do I share my pictures on Gabbafriends.com?

We are always thrilled to receive your pictures at Gabbafriends! We believe it helps other parents create the perfect Yo Gabba Gabba experience for their children!

To send in pictures, please send them to Gabbafriends@gmail.com. It's really helpful to include details about the pictures, so we are sure not to get the details wrong! Also, if you have a Gabbafriends User Name, please let us know so we can give you the full credit you deserve!

How can I get my child on Yo Gabba Gabba?

The creators of Yo Gabba Gabba have said in interviews that they hold auditions shortly before the filming of each season. The child must be available in the Southern California area for callbacks/filming. Currently there are not plans to start filming season four, therefore, there are no auditions currently scheduled. Find this to be unacceptable? ME TOO! So why not sign our petition for Nickelodeon to order a season four, five, six, and so on!

I tried to post something on Gabbafriends.com and I got a notice that it was marked as spam!

As any other website, we get spammers with bad content posting on our pages, and we have to enable our spam filters to keep them out. The biggest problem with filters is that some of your amazing comments with helpful advice and other information get put into the spam folder. Thankfully, this happens very rarely. We try to check it often, but sometimes it gets put on the back burner. If your comment fell into the spam folder, please feel free to email us at Gabbafriends@gmail.com to remind us to look in the spam folder. Thank you for your patience.

Where can I buy the clothes the kids wear on Yo Gabba Gabba?

Unfortunately, the clothes you see on Yo Gabba Gabba were never made for the purposes of retail. If you're feeling crafty, you can make them yourself by using the face templates that Nora so kindly provided for personal use only.

I lost the link to my photos from Yo Gabba Gabba Live! (Or) The link doesn't work! (Or) My photos are not there!

Unfortunately, we don't have the answer as to what link or web address one needs to go to in order to retrieve your pictures from Yo Gabba Gabba Live. (I'm sorry.) The BEST thing to do is to post the question to our forums or Yo Gabba Gabba's Facebook wall and allow other parents who attended the VIP party to answer the question for you.

My bakery refuses to make me a Yo Gabba Gabba cake. Help!

While it is a matter of intellectual property and copyrights, some bakers will risk it, some won't. And unfortunately, we can't give you a copyright release form. (We sure wish we could!)

A great alternative to the Yo Gabba Gabba cake is to use the decorations from Birthday Express! They have cute movable cake figures that the birthday boy or girl will love playing with long after the party is over! There are also great cupcake rings that double as party favors!

Also, there are some really easy cake ideas that don't require specialized cake decorating skills! You can check out those ideas here!

OR, you can purchase a cake decorating kit here, and use it on a bakery cake made with Yo Gabba Gabba colors!

Can Yo Gabba Gabba come to my child's birthday party?

Though you won't be able to get the real Yo Gabba Gabba to come to a birthday party, we have seen a lot of party/entertainment companies making bootleg costumes, but please know this is generally frowned upon.

The best thing to do is either make your own Gabba costumes, or you can purchase a DJ Lance costume and ask a friend or relative to wear it for the party.

Why can't I find merchandise at my local stores? And why is it so expensive online?

Check out our story all about the rare merchandise, and what you can do to change that!

Notable Quotes

"My kids [Stella, 22 months, and Liam, 3] are obsessed with Yo Gabba Gabba! It's a dream to guest on the show and do a dance-y dance!"

-Tori Spelling, actress

"I love YO GABBA GABBA. I don't care what you say, DJ Lance, Muno, Brobee, Foofa, Toodee and Plex have taught my daughter many valuable lessons--like the desirability of napping, for one. Not to throw objects at Daddy's skull. Not biting. The value of 'trying again' and 'not giving up.' All set to surprisingly weird, offbeat songs which--in another venue and with other lyrics, one might find oneself enjoying at a club. They get good indie bands as guests, and Mark Mothersbaugh of DEVO is a regular. I know every song and every lyric by heart."

-Anthony Bourdain, host of No Reservations
