NEW Episode of Yo Gabba Gabba November 5, 2010!
We are extremely excited to report that a much-anticipated episode of Yo Gabba Gabba is scheduled to air on Nickelodeon on Friday November 5th, at 11:30 am.

The Flaming Lips are coming to Yo Gabba Gabba! Oklahoma’s most famous psychedelic rockers will appear on the Nov. 5 episode of the popular kids’ show singing “I Can Be a Frog,” an original song penned by the Yo Gabba Gabba! writing staff. Hit the jump for an exclusive minute-long preview of their performance.

As you’ll see, “I Can Be a Frog” is a catchy tune about the power of imagination. Lead Lip Wayne Coyne sings it while wearing multiple hats.
Editor's note: Since this article was first published, there has been a lot of question about who wrote that great song "I Can Be a Frog". Though the previous quote is a direct quote from EW.com (they have since edited their article), it has been confirmed by the writer and director of the episode, "Fairytale", Matt Fackrell, that the song "I Can Be a Frog" is indeed a Flaming Lips original song! It's easy to see why EW might have originally thought it was penned by one of the Yo Gabba Gabba musicians, as we know from past interviews they do write most of the songs for their guests in order to keep down the costs of licensing music. In fact, you can now find the song "I Can Be a Frog" on The Flaming Lips' latest album Embryonic
While it's great to finally get another new episode, there has still been no word of an order from Nickelodeon of more seasons of Yo Gabba Gabba. Please do let our friends at Nickelodeon know that you would like for them to order more seasons by signing our friendly petition!
