Christian's First Birthday!
Jillian shared with us pictures from her son's birthday party! Everything turned out very cute, and we especially love that gorgeous birthday cake! Great job, Jillian!!

We had an absolute blast. Christian has always loved Yo Gabba Gabba and at 6 months old would sit and watch an entire show (the only thing he would watch). We wrapped some of his Gabba gifts like YGG characters (he got way too many gifts!) and made a boombox for people to put cards/letters in for a scrapbook when he gets older.
The cake came out fantastic (we used a local bakery) and everyone had a total blast.
It was so fun to prepare the party and see how great it turned out. I either made things myself or bought them online (mainly through celebrate express). But most of my best ideas came from this website. So thanks a ton!
They also were able to show a video throughout the party so we had the Birthday Boogie CD and Christian loved getting to watch his favorite YGG shows while he enjoyed his yummy cake!
I had 2 goody bags for the kids (the boombox and the character bags) and had bubbles for all plus pretzel gifts for the adults and mints. The Tag on the pretzels and goody boxes said "Thanks for playing with us today. It was awesome!" which another person had posted on the website.
We made our own invitations (TGG style, but due to my son being pre-adoptive I'm not allowed to post his picture) and his Thank You cards were the customized ones on Celebrate Express ( we slipped in a 1st bday pic of him to each thank you).
One picture wouldn't attach which was the up close of the bubbles. It was YGG and said "It's Christian's 1st Birthday!" which was the same label I used to seal the invitations.
It was just an absolute blast and the perfect memory to have of my baby's first party. Thanks for such a helpful website!!
