Petition to Nickelodeon to Air New Episodes of Yo Gabba Gabba and Order a Season Four!

Wondering why we haven't seen a new episode of Yo Gabba Gabba in nearly three months? So are we!

That is why we at Gabbafriends.com created a friendly grassroots petition to request that the people at Nickelodeon air new episodes. We haven't seen most of season three and season two has one or two episodes waiting for their big debut.

Even more important are the people that are employed by Yo Gabba Gabba and Wildbrain. Each of the three years from 2007-2009 Yo Gabba Gabba has had a production season. This year, 2010, there has been no production, because Nickelodeon simply has yet to order a season four. (This may be due to the fact that they are launching a huge 60 date tour.) I'm sure you've noticed that it's been oddly uneventful over at the Production Blog.

Now, don't get me wrong. Nickelodeon is NOT getting rid of Yo Gabba Gabba. Why would they? Yo Gabba Gabba is awesome!!! And by all accounts, the relationship between Yo Gabba Gabba and Nickelodeon has been great. Everyone likes everyone. But we are still waiting for word of an order for season four.

Meanwhile, some of the key people who actually work for the show are out of work, with the exception of the actors/dancers who are on tour. That begs the following question: If they are out of work and need to find other means to support their own families, will they be available when a season four does begin production? Yikes! For example, I don't know about you, but I don't think the musicians at Yo Gabba Gabba who write all of those amazing jingles and songs for the Super Music Friends Show are at all dispensable! I can't imagine the integrity of the show staying intact if the cast and crew change each season.

So let's let Nickelodeon know how much we love Yo Gabba Gabba, how much we appreciate everyone at Nickelodeon for airing the show, and that we would love to see them be able to create new content!
