So sad they are not coming to the Bay Area. Was really looking forward to it.

on Facebook they responded to all the negative comments and said that this was the "SPRING" announcement. Hinting at more dates for the summertime. I am kind of bummed at the ticket prices though. All children have to pay, regardless of age, the same price tickets. I cant afford nearly $100 for just my daughter and myself to go. The fees and stuff nearly double the price of the tickets for the Fox Theater in STL, MO. I wonder if any radio stations, etc will hold any contests to try and win some?

Laurie's picture

I'm sure they will. Last year, several blogs and radio stations (and Gabbafriends!) gave away tickets. We're definitely going to try our very best to get our hands on tickets to give away!

I had heard they were coming to Omaha.. Then the balloon in Nebraska dissapeared.. So I still had KC, MO.. I still had Kansas City!!! Then that went up in the air.
I planned on taking my daughter for her 2nd birthday present. I am so bummed out.
Omaha or middle america is being totally left out!

Oh man, I was hoping that they would hit up the SF Bay Area, or even Sacromento area. But no luck! I hope they come out this way soon!

juelzmom's picture

We really were hoping they were coming to FL! Or even GA we would have made the trip! I really hope they make a date for Florida.

Karina_Nina's picture

i was wondering why all those tour dates are around the same area.. I was hoping for New Jersey.. or at least New york. I mean not even any of the major cities are mentioned.. Are there going to be any more tour date announcements?

cbmgroovy's picture

I too was so excited when I saw the balloon over Atlanta! I am hoping that they just announced the tour dates for March and that there are more to come! Fingers crossed ...

Do not see any southwest cities! Wish they would come this way to Arizona, saw them last year at the kids fair but only Dj Lance and Brobee were there.

Atlanta is still highlighted on the map, so I am hoping they make it here.

I would like to invite you all to speculate and discuss today's announcement of the six cities announced today!

I personally think that since it's a small geographical area, that it is a teaser of a much, MUCH larger tour this year! Far beyond our wildest dreams. The announcement today actually gives me much hope for what else we will see this year! And if this is true, I imagine there is a TON of work going on behind the scenes to book those dates and they haven't been able to release those dates yet, so they went with just announcing the March dates instead.

What are your thoughts and/or predictions? Let's hear 'em!

we are soo bummed out, we were really hoping that YGG would visit Boston, it was highlighted on the map right up untill minutes before the announcement... such a teaser!!!!!

I'm so excited. I actually live in Fort Wayne, Indiana. We were hoping somewhere in the Midwest, since we missed the Chicago shows. We were planning to drive up to 6 hours to catch a show. So for Gabba Live to come to our city is AMAZING.

mhswan's picture

I hope so. Sure was a lot of hoopla and fan fair for six dates.

KellyELawson's picture

Well. I am personally VERY excited... because one of the locations is only an hour and a half from my home! Now just hoping we can get tickets... We LOVE YGG!!

Notable Quotes

"I love YO GABBA GABBA. I don't care what you say, DJ Lance, Muno, Broby, Foofa, Toodie and Plex have taught my daughter many valuable lessons--like the desirability of napping, for one. Not to throw objects at Daddy's skull. Not biting. The value of 'trying again' and 'not giving up.' All set to surprisingly weird, offbeat songs which--in another venue and with other lyrics, one might find oneself enjoying at a club. They get good indie bands as guests, and Mark Mothersbaugh of DEVO is a regular. I know every song and every lyric by heart."

-Anthony Bourdain, host of No Reservations
