How-To: Make a Gabbalicious Tie-Dye Cake
Peace sent in this pictures of this darling cake she made for her daughter, CQ, along with instructions on how she made the inside multi-colored!

I made this cake for my daughter's 2nd birthday. I bought the figurines online, used store bought fondant for the frosting and made a tie-dye cake using food coloring. I was pretty easy, and she loved it. She started playing with the figurines and didn't want to open any other presents!!

To make the tie dye cake I bought a standard white cake mix, and prepared according to the package directions. Then I separated it into 7 different bowls (this was a bad time for the dishwasher to be broken!) I used food coloring to make a variety of colors and then spooned them all into the cake pan (quickly) in a somewhat random order. I just tried to have 2 or 3 blobs of each color in different parts of the pan so that each serving of cake would have several different colors. I jiggled the pan a little so they would "flow" and then put it in the oven. Super easy.

Thanks, Peace!
