Scooby's Yo Gabba Gabba Birthday Party!
Just wanted to share my Yo Gabba Gabba party pictures from my son Scooby’s first birthday party. We had a great time! This site was so helpful to me as far as gathering ideas. I couldn’t have done it without GabbaFriends! I documented the party in detail on my blog!
Balloon Face Printables and Personalized Circle Balloon circle from RyCreation on Etsy

Drink/Dessert buffet. My mom helped me attach a foam craft Plex that I created onto my beverage dispenser filled with yellow punch to match! I decorated a plain white Wilton dessert stand with colorful ribbons and filled it up with delicious cupcakes from a local baker. We used the Yo Gabba Gabba bath squirters to add character accents to the cake. I also purchased custom water label printables from Etsy.

I created a fun photo montage/banner of my son’s first 11 months in Yo Gabba Gabba colors. You can also see the Poms I ordered from PomLove on Etsy in the corner.

I printed out these water bottle labels and used clear packing tape to seal them onto the bottles. I found a great tip online to use the Archer Farms Spring Water from Target for this project. Those bottles have a nice 2-inch flat area for the label instead of the ridges that most bottles have. This is obviously not waterproof solution so I chilled the bottles and put it in a shallow tray with a little ice.

My sister painstakingly strung up crepe streamers in the party colors. She really outdid herself! We filled this in with balloons in all the corners the day of the party.

We all wore custom Yo Gabba Gabba T-Shirts of course! I transferred the Balloon Face printables for DJ Lance and Toodee onto T-Shirt Transfer paper to make Mommy and Daddy T-Shirts. I purchased the Brobee crown T-Shirt my son is wearing from Mommyslittlemonsters on Etsy.

I used the Balloon Face printables (again!) to make a banner for my son’s high chair.

These table centerpieces were inspired by a cake topper creator on Etsy. I used the mask printables from the Nick Jr site along with pompoms, pipe cleaners and some other fun stuff from the craft store to make these pop. I stacked the toppers on some colorful old Ikea flower pots I already bought long ago. I loved the way these came out!

I thought the cake looked really cute and fit in perfectly with the colors and theme. I ordered it from Confection Perfection. To avoid paying for expensive sculpted fondant characters, I bought Yo Gabba Gabba bath squirters from Amazon.com and used them as cake toppers and decorations.

I made chocolate caramel candy apples decorated like Brobee for the party favors. This project didn’t quite turn out as well as I wanted and I’d do some things differently next time. It was still kind of cute though!
