Skye's 2nd Birthday Gabba style!!
Skye is so in love with Yo Gabba Gabba that we had to have it be her theme at her second birthday party. We went to a local park and had over 75 guests! We rocked out to gabba music and ate tasty treats and played! I made sure to really deck it out in Gabba things...I used a lot of ideas from the people here and also printed fun things from nickjr.com! I hope you enjoy my creations as much as all the party goers and Skye!

Here is a plethera of things I made for the party...Thanks for all your helpful ideas gabba friends!
My Fave was the cake! I rolled out fondant and Painted (by using powder food dye and painting it on with lemon extract with paint brushes) a gabba land on each layer and everyone is in their land (plex is with Foofa hehe)(Muno was MIA for the cupcakes...so we went on without him)
I did a fun rainbow of colors in the inside of the cake (vanilla cake mix separated in several bowls to add various food dye colors and pour each color one by one on top of the other to make this effect)

Pinata (I bought a pull string Madagascar themed pinata at a discount grocery store for 5 bucks and covered it in wrapping paper and cut out some print outs from nickjr.com and designed my own gabba pinata!)

here is the pathway leading to the park...
I printed these faces up from Nickjr.com and put them on bamboo sticks and put them in the ground as you walked up...
I printed out the growth chart on nickjr.com and put it on the toddler section of the park :)
I made a stand for photos hehe (out of a big piece of cardboard covered in wrapping paper and cut outs are also wrapping paper with holes cut out for heads to show through)
I made plex out of a Chinese take out box hehe
printed masks from nickjr.com and put them on popsicle sticks
I made blankets for everyone to sit on...
Skye even got Gabba toys!

We are having our daughters 1st Bday Gabba theme and love your ideas. Our daughter has had a rough year and we really want to make her bday special. She missed Christmas since she was sick & I want her to have lots of pictures for her 1st Bday.
I just wanted to ask you for the party hats, did you buy colored party hats and add the eyes, mouths, etc? They came out great and we are starting this weekend to make some things for her party. Love the fleece blankets, hope we can be that talented.
