We Want to See DJ Lance Perform on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon!
UPDATE: Well, we have to say, this was a surprisingly big success as far as getting hundreds of Tweets out! We definitely caught Questlove's attention, and so now all we can do is see what happens behind the scenes! In the meantime, we are going to send out to random Twitter members who Re-Tweeted our message. We will announce those winners shortly. Thank you to everyone who participated in our Gabbafriends Twitter Campaign!
We're excited to announce our Gabbafriends Twitter Campaign!

We all love the teaser video of The Roots playing "Lovely Love My Family" on Yo Gabba Gabba--a song written by Amos "Mossi" Watene, the voice of Brobee--but the "Family" episode still has yet to air!
Wouldn't it be AMAZING to see DJ Lance Rock go onto the Late Show With Jimmy Fallon and perform "Lovely Love My Family" LIVE with The Roots?
We think so!!!
Even better would be to have Christian Jacobs and Scott Schultz, the creators of Yo Gabba Gabba, along with DJ Lance, be interviewed by Fallon to promote the airing of "Family". How could Nick Jr. or Noggin say no to that?!
As fans, we are proposing we catch the attention of Jimmy Fallon and Questlove using Twitter!
Here's how to help out: Every time you see @Gabbafriends Tweet about having DJ Lance on Yo Gabba Gabba, be sure to Re-Tweet the message, including @jimmyfallon and @questlove so they are sure to see it!
Then? Well, the goal is to get Nick Jr. and Noggin to play "Family" the day after the airing of Late Night!
I asked Amos about "Lovely Love My Family" and he shared with me the most amazing, heartfelt story about how the song came to be!
Amos says, "It's a funny thing how [the song] got picked up. I was playing it on my computer in the lobby at the studio and one of the music team writers (Ricky Falomir) heard it. He came up to me and asked me what the song was and asked to listen to it. Then he asked if he could remix it for fun, it turned out really good, we were both so amped about it that he showed it to Christian Jacobs co-creator of the show and he was like this is perfect because The Roots need a song. So Christian emailed two songs to The Roots and the one they chose to do was mine. I was extremely honored and super jazzed about it. But truly Ricky is the reason that the song even went anywhere if you wanna hear the original version and the remixed version go here http://www.reverbnation.com/mossi Also the video I was making for it when Ricky heard it is there too.
"Basically I wrote the song when I was waiting for the bus one day. We used to only have one car so I would ride the bus to and from college until we could muster up the scratch for another car. It was a fun struggle and made me realize the best things in life are right before our eyes and sometimes we need to literally slow down before we can see them in front of us."
Here is the original video and original song as performed by Amos:
So come on, everybody! Let's do it! Let's see what the fans are capable of doing!

One of the coolest things about this video (besides Mossi, of course!) is that at about 1:07 in this video, you will see Emma Jacobs, the actress that plays Foofa.
She's SO lovely!
