I just wanted to share Xharia's 3rd birthday celebration with our Gabba Friends :)
I had just had my second child so I wanted to keep things as simple as possible but still give my daughter a wonderful party and....we did it! I came across an invite on Evite and asked Xhari if she wanted a Gabba party or a Carnival party and Yo Gabba Gabba won out! So, I scoured the web and came across your website, which I used to draw from. There were tons of fabulous ideas on there and without it, I would have been lost.

I ordered cupcakes from our local grocery store. I had the bakery frost the cupcakes for me in the character colors i.e. plain, blue, pink, green etc. (I requested just chocolate icing for the DJ Lance cupcakes). I purchased a decorating tip kit and also tubes of decorator icing (you can screw the tips right on - no problem) Since the bakery had already baked the cupcakes and frosted them our (my sister-in-law helped) work was fairly easy. I got black, white, orange and red tubes of icing. I think we did an awesome job. My SIL really got into it!

I went back and forth on the favors. I had basically decided to do the Favor bags idea off the Nick Jr. website. However, in the store I remembered "Mary Pat's" party favor idea/Muno and decided to go with that. I really liked the way it turned out. We even created a Plex version! So thanks Mary Pat's mom for the great idea!

I forgot to get a game for the kids to play BUT I had a red table cloth on the tables. So - I basically created a Muno shape out of the red table cloth and my SIL created a bunch of "eyes". We taped Muno to the wall (we had to shorten his legs a bit) and played several rounds of Pin the Eye on Muno. I was really pleased with the way it turned out despite kinda being a last minute idea.

I also printed the Masks from Nick Jr.'s website and used them in place of party hats for the kids.

Everyone commented on how awesome things were and the kids really had a blast!!
