Yo Gabba Gabba Cake Sunday Showcase, Vol. 1
Since there are so many Yo Gabba Gabba cakes (and other wonderful treats) that come into our email box and that we spy on the internet, we're going to start a weekly Yo Gabba Gabba Cake Sunday Showcase to bring to you all of these delightful creations! Big thanks to Jen at Cakewrecks.com for being the inspiration; her Sunday Sweets section is one of the first things I check Sunday mornings! (I love cake... a little too much, I might add. But especially if they're Yo Gabba Gabba cakes!)

This Plex cake was sent in by the Chlebana family, and was created for their five-year old son's birthday! Heather tells us, "My husband is the 2008 ACF National Pastry Chef of the Year and is a Professor of Baking and Pastry for Joliet Junior College also he is the executive pastry chef at White Eagle Country Club in Naperville Illinois. The cake was as DELICIOUS as it does look FABULOUS!!!"
Nancy made this Brobee cake for her son's birthday party. Nancy says, "I used a 8x9 inch cake pan and cut it in the shape of his head. For his three horns, I used a square 9 inch cake pan and used three corners. The rest is decorated using colored frosting."
This birthday boy's grandmother whipped up these amazing Yo Gabba Gabba cakes! His mom, Lisa, writes in, "Here is a picture of the cakes my mom made for my son's 2nd birthday party. It is two cake mixes made into 3 cakes. Each cake is cut in half, so each of the gabba heads are made from half of a cake. They were awesome!!"
Aiden's birthday cake uses those cute PVC Yo Gabba Gabba figurines. Alas, sadly those are hard to find nowadays.
Victoria's cake also uses the figurines. For those who love this look, you can also try using the new cake toppers from Celebrate Express!
Anah's parents made him a Brobee cake for his second birthday! Anah's parents say, "We love Brobee!!"
What Plex fan wouldn't love this cake for his birthday? This was sent in to us by GabbaFriend "Jonahsmom007" who made this cake with her husband for their son's first birthday!
Veronika's mother made this beautiful GabbaLand cake for her son's birthday!
Owen turned 2 on April 25th, and his mom, Tonya, made this great cake for him! Tonya tells us, "Owen absolutely LOVES Yo Gabba Gabba! I have to admit I’m a big fan myself!!"
Scarlett's cake features a wonderful fondant re-creation of the Yo Gabba Gabba logo!
Donna sent in this wonderful Toodee cake she made for her 3-year old's birthday party! Toodee was a big hit, she says!
This Brobee cake was sent in by Eilis who says, "We just had our daughter’s 3rd birthday party on the weekend, and as you can see from the photos, she had a Brobee cake. Yay!" You really can just see the excitement in the birthday girl's face, no?
