Yo Gabba Gabba Cake Sunday Showcase, Vol. 18
It's that time of the week for the Yo Gabba Gabba Cake Sunday Showcase, where we like to present to you our favorite Yo Gabba Gabba cake finds!
Huge thanks to everyone featured in today's Showcase for taking the time to share with us the following details about their cake!
Cakes By Kim made the first cake in today's feature! This gorgeous cake features Foofa Land layered on top of Toodee Land with all five of our favorite Gabba friends present, all beautifully detailed with the use of fondant! Cakes by Kim is located in Winston Salem, North Carolina!

This DJ Lance cake was made special for Gina's son's birthday party! When we asked Gina how her fabulous cake came to be, she shared with us these details: "I own a company called Taste This! Culinary Events and Chef Services. When planning a party, my specialty is to pay attention to the details. Although the venue I chose (Bounceu.com) provided a cake with the package, I wanted something that looked identical to the invitations that I made. I worked with a local woman that loves to bake, Lynette Baiocco, and came up with the cake that you saw. The inside of the cake was made of chocolate and the outside was made with fondant. Everything was edible including the glasses. It looks exactly like the top part of my invitations and also my son’s favorite part of the show (when DJ Lance lift’s his head from behind the radio)." If you would like a cake similar to Gina's you can find Lynette Baiocco through Taste This!.

When Renee McCarthy's daughter had her first birthday party, she had her talented sister, Amanda Rankin, make this beautiful boombox cake! Amanda makes cakes part time out of her home, and if you love her work too, you can find her here!

For Tehani's birthday, her mom, Trisha Tollefsen, had this cake made by St. Germain's Bakery in Honolulu, Hawaii! Don't you all just love how the baker continued on with all of the detailing from the image? Very pretty cake!

Joanne Mendiola's daughter just turned three years old and this Gabba fan not only had a Yo Gabba Gabba birthday party, but she is also going VIP to Yo Gabba Gabba Live on November 21st! Joanne shared with us the details about her inspiration for this amazing Muno cake, "I had it professionally made at Kathy's kreative Kakes in San Mateo, CA. I came across a picture and brought it to have her create it. We absolutely love it and it tasted great too!"

Lissette's favorite Gabba friend is Brobee, and the theme of her birthday party showed it, right down to the adorable Brobee cake! Lissette's mom, Malgorzata Aleta, had this to say, "Our friend has a cake company and we requested her to make our daughter Lissette's 1st birthday cake. Her name is Kelly Zubal and her company is Inticing Creations in San Francisco. From a couple months old, Lissette has been a mega Yo Gabba Gabba fan. The show completely captured her attention and she has been singing the songs and sharing the stories ever since! Lissette loves Brobee so Kelly had this great idea to make a Brobee cake holding Lissette's very own birthday cake. Upon seeing it for the first time, Lissette just wanted to grab him and go play. Needless to say when we didnt let her take him she got pretty upset. All got better when her cake was set in front of her and she was able to dig in to the cookies and cream slice. I have included a few more pictures for you to see Lissette and her favorite friend, Brobee, on her 1st birthday."

Amanda Hatkevich made this amazing Brobee cake for her baby's 2nd birthday cake! Seriously, friends, check out the shaping of this cake. It's so *perfectly* Brobee! Really impressive, Amanda!

Kathleen Hawkins had this wonderful Yo Gabba Gabba cake made for her daughter Emma's birthday party! This cake was made by Krista at Le Cakery Bakery in Blacklick, Ohio! Kathleen even sent us close up images to better show how perfectly Krista was able to capture the unique personalities of each Gabba character! Kathleen told us, "The cake was awesome. All the kids at the party loved it. One of the little boys wouldn't let his mom put him down or even walk away from the cake for the first hour they were here!!

For Aimee Magorka's son's birthday party, she had her friend Jessica make this fabulous Yo Gabba Gabba cake! We LOVE how she used the top Brobee layer as the smash cake! Aimee sent us a picture of the cake cut open, so we can see how colorful Jessica made the inside of the cake! Aimee very kindly took the time to share with us how you, too, can make a tie-dyed cake center! "It's really easy," Aimee writes. "Just divide the cake mix into smaller bowls. Put food coloring in it and mix up all of the different colors, then pour in the cake batter into the pan, one at a time. You can either leave it alone and it will just sit how you pour it, or you can run a knife thru it and make twisted designs inside of it, but be careful not to do it too much thru the same spots or the colors are not as bright." Thanks, Aimee!

For Osiris' birthday, his mom, Nicole Bell, commissioned Tipsy Cake in Chicago, Illinoise to make this great cake! Nicole highly recommeds Tipsy Cake and says they are the best!

Our last cake image is courtesy of Rob Bahr! We just adore the sweetness of the characters on this cake, and its coordinating smash cake that features the birthday girl's monogram! So pretty!
